  • Data segregation assurance
  • Internet-based
  • Able to perform work-flows on main corporate processes
Software Design chose Oracle Applications to develop its own ERP products:

Oracle Applications is a suite of more than 48 integrated software modules for the automation of financial management, supply chain management, manifacturing, project system, human resources, and sales forces.

Oracle Applications combines a wide range of functionalities with state-of-the-art technology. The suite is fine-tuned to enable rapid implementation.

Why Software Design chose ERP Oracle
  • Oracle's major competitors (SAP, PeopleSoft and Baan) have used a mixture of third-party developement, networking, and data warehousing tools in implementing their products. The Oracle RDMBS and programming layers under the Oracle Applications are the essential elements in comparison with other vendors' applications software.
  • The programming tools the Oracle Applications are written with have been designed for the Oracle RDBMS. They are widely viewed as being highly efficient, and they are often used outside Oracle Applications environment. It is less difficult and expensive to find programmers able to customize Oracle's applications rather than proprietary languages.
  • Oracle Applications' open architecture makes them easy to be customizsed and integrated with other vendors' package. Most application logics are available and programmers can analyse them. The table structure is open, published, and accessible also by a non-Oracle database.
