| | 11 March, 2003 TOTAL MANAGEMENT In an inter-ministerial decree, the Ministers of Transport, Finance and Defence approved a 40-year Total Management Agreement for Naples Airport undersigned by the ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) and Gesac. The primary duties of the airport management company include the maintenance and development of airport infrastructure, planning, coordination and development of commercial activities, airport security, customer service, ensuring quality standards, security and safeguarding the environment. 15 September, 2005 AIRPORT CERTIFICATE The ENAC conferred Certification upon Gesac in September of 2004. Certification attests to compliance with the Airport Construction and Operations Regulations which are the ICAO International regulations regarding the infrastructure, organisation and operational procedures at Naples Airport. The ICAO – International Civil Aviation Organization – is the International organisation responsible for regulating and standardizing civil aviation transport operational procedures. October, 2005 ISO 9001:2000 Certification from October, 2005 to the present, the airport management company’s Quality Management System has been certified by TUV, the Italian certification agency, as being in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 international standards. The processes certified were: planning and provision of centralised airport resource attribution, operations and supervision services, maintenance of equipment and infrastructure, airport information services, baggage sorting system operations and information provided to the public. 22 July, 2008 ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (VIA) The Naples Airport Master-plan received a favourable environmental impact assessment by the Ministry of the Environment (DEC 2008 – 0000622), thus confirming the airport’s capacity for 10.5 million passengers. 7 October, 2009 APPROVAL OF “PROGRAMME AGREEMENT” Pursuant to Decree 7 dated 7 October, 2009 of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport in conjunction with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, registered at the Court of Accounts October 20th, the Programme Agreement involving Naples Capodichino Airport, stipulated between GESAC and E.N.A.C. (The Italian Civil Aviation Agency), was approved and published in the Official Gazette n. 259 dated 6 November, 2009. The Programme Agreement regulates the rates for airport fees for the four year period of 2009-2012, the investment plan and compliance with quality and environmental safeguarding objectives.
